About this event

Discover the heritage of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in this 1.5-hour hands-on workshop. Trace its journey from ancient China to Singapore, where TCM became part of everyday life for early immigrants. Learn core concepts such as Yin-Yang balance, the Five Elements, and holistic wellness practices that have shaped local traditions.

Guided by experienced facilitators, you’ll practise simple hand exercises for circulation, try acupressure points for common ailments, and explore medicinal cuisine. Gain practical insights into how TCM continues to preserve health and cultural identity in Singapore.

Note: The workshop will be conducted either at Arts Resource Hub @ 42 Waterloo Street or a classroom at Waterloo Centre. Both locations are located within 3 mins walk from Bras Basah MRT Station Exit E and 5 mins walk from Bencoolen MRT Station Exit B. Participants will receive an email with the exact location at least three days before the workshop.
