WHAT IS 'STORIES THAT MATTER @ CENTRAL SINGAPORE'?

The initiative supports meaningful local films that tell stories about second chances, inclusion and other causes close to our community's heart, while giving our Singapore artistes and filmmakers greater support. Due to resource considerations, the causes will be closely aligned with what CS CDC is already involved in with our community and partners.

PACE ( 《脚踏 实地》 )

The bilingual film tells a story of second chances, family and the challenges of starting over. It follows Malcolm, an ex-offender fresh out of rehabilitation, as he seeks to rebuild his life and reconnect with his family. The lead actor, Desmond Tan, shed 15kg for the part.

Cast: Desmond Tan, Elaine Jin, Zhu Hou Ren, Joel Choo, Simonboy and Zaki

Director: Jonathan Choo Hussain
