About it

Every great mystery starts with a secret and a character who’ll do anything to keep it. But where does your story begin? In this hands-on workshop, a deck of Old Maid cards becomes your most unexpected creative tool. Draw just five cards and watch your story come alive: a peculiar cast of suspects, a tangle of secrets and a twist nobody saw coming.

Through guided exercises in character-building and world-building, you’ll craft your own original mystery. Who’s hiding something? Who can you trust? And who is the Old Maid?
