About this event

Gardens by the Bay Janice Wong Mid-Autumn collection They say Singapore’s a fast-paced society, and it’s easy to see why. We’re still inching our way into August, and yet we can already see the supermarkets lining their shelves with mooncakes in preparation for the Mid-Autumn Festival coming late September. But we’re not complaining; that just gives us more time to snack on yummy mooncakes. If you’re a mooncake connoisseur who just can’t wait to indulge in the seasonal goodies, one spot to satisfy your cravings is Gardens by the Bay . They’ve partnered with renowned pastry chef Janice Wong to bring visitors a bunch of delectable offerings that almost look too delicate and pretty to gobble up. Here’s what you can expect. What to know about the GBTB & Janice Wong Mid-Autumn collection? Image credit: Gardens by the Bay You can check out the special Janice Wong Mid-Autumn collection installation at the Gardens by the Bay Supertree Observatory from now till 3rd August 2026 . The observatory will play host to an interactive chocolate art display , as well as a retail space selling mooncake sets from the Janice Wong Mid-Autumn collection. Do note that you’ll need a Supertree Observatory ticket in order to access the new Mid-Autumn offerings, which cost $14/adult and $10/child . Well, it has gotten a little makeover, and the cafe is now fully decked out and ready for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival. You’ll first come across a display of chef Janice’s new Mid-Autumn collection, arranged neatly for all to see. These come in tins of 4 and 8, but what really steals the limelight is the new Wooden Lantern set that we suspect will be a hot commodity once the rest of Singapore settles into the mood for mooncakes. Head further in, and you’ll come across a huge chocolate art installation. Also the brainchild of chef Janice herself, she’s known for elaborate art pieces that are surprisingly also edible – you might’ve chanced upon her massive Blooming Imagination display built from 800kg of cocoa at Paragon earlier this year. Chef Janice applying the finishing touches. She taps into her boundless creativity once again with her latest work of art nestled 50m above the ground in the SuperTree Observatory. These 4 colourful panels are fitted with her Mid-Autumn collection’s Chocolate Mooncakes; unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to pull them off for a quick taste test. Indulge in a Janice Wong Mid-Autumn Collection mooncake set More on the chef Janice’s Mid-Autumn offerings; the centrepiece of the collection will undoubtedly have to be the Limited Edition Wooden Lantern ($105) . Image credit: Janice Wong Personally designed by chef Janice, this work of art draws inspiration from the geometric folds of traditional paper lanterns. Within the lantern lies 8 Floral & Tea and Signature Baked mooncakes , along with a flower-shaped ceramic plate and 2 matching forks to enjoy these delicacies with. In particular, the Floral & Tea collection is a new addition to the chef-artist’s repertoire of edible masterpieces. Flavours include Osmanthus Honey , which tantalises with a hint of osmanthus laced with honey, and Jasmine Green Tea , which pairs the sprightly aroma of jasmine with the earthy finish of tea.
