If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind those very expensive garage doors before the Formula 1 cars hit the track, here’s your chance to see it. Singapore GP has opened the public ballot for its Thursday Pit Lane Experience, with up to 4,500 Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents set to get a closer look at the action ahead of the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026.

Happening on Thursday, October 8, the experience takes place before the Circuit Park officially opens for the race weekend, offering a rare peek at the preparations happening behind the scenes. Those who make the cut can walk along the pit lane, check out the Formula 1 team garages and cars up close, and get a sense of the pre-race buzz as teams get themselves and their machines ready for the days ahead.

There’s more than just pit lane exploring on the itinerary, too. Visitors can also wander through the Zone 1 F1 Village and take part in interactive activities throughout the evening.

The best part? You don’t need to own a Grand Prix ticket to enter the ballot. The draw is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, and every successful applicant will receive two tickets to the Thursday experience.
