About this event

Tea in Singapore is more than something people drink. It is part of how guests are welcomed, how conversations begin, and how everyday moments are given a sense of care, pause, and connection. This 90-minute in-person heritage workshop introduces participants to tea as a living cultural practice shaped by daily life in Singapore.

Through guided storytelling, participants will explore how tea connects hospitality, family memory, social etiquette, and shared cultural experience. The session also introduces selected teaware and table practices, showing how objects, gestures, and setting can reflect respect, aesthetics, and human connection. Participants will then take part in a simple guided brewing experience designed for the general public, followed by a shared tasting and reflection.
