About this event
Learn the delicate art of Nyonya beading, a cherished Peranakan craft. Using fine glass beads and authentic techniques, create your own kasut manek (beaded slipper) motif—traditionally a symbol of love and grace. In Peranakan culture, beadwork was more than decorative; it reflected a Nyonya's patience and skill. Experience cultural immersion through sarong kebaya dressing, traditional kueh tasting, and stories that connect past to present in this hands-on heritage workshop.
