About it
Gallery Sketch Chapter | First Marks is a quarterly sketching programme at the Gallery. Set within selected spaces, the sessions explore how architecture and artworks can be experienced through sketching — encouraging one to slow down, observe and engage in a different way.
Led by an artist-facilitator, First Marks introduces participants to selected vantage points across the Gallery. With a balance of structured guidance and independent sketching, you'll develop both observational skills and a personal drawing style at your own pace.
Whether you are just beginning or looking to refine your practice, First Marks provides a supportive and enriching environment to grow.
