About this event

See it. Hear it. Taste it. Experience Singapore's history like never before. Embark on a two-part heritage experience by Chinatown Heritage Centre and Rise Bakehouse Heritage that takes you from immersive storytelling to heritage-inspired dining, all in one unforgettable evening.

Part 1 – 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM: Step into the lives of Singapore's early pioneers through an immersive character-led experience at Chinatown Heritage Centre, where recreated shophouses and captivating storytelling bring 1950s Chinatown to life. Meet a Samsui Woman or a Chinese Coolie and uncover the stories of the people who helped build Singapore.

Part 2 – 07:00 PM onwards: Continue your journey with a short 5-minute walk to Rise Bakehouse Heritage for a heritage-inspired dining experience. Enjoy one main course of your choice and one exclusive themed dessert. Choose between a comforting Muah Chee gelato wrapped in soft mochi and finished with peanut crunch, inspired by the resilience and warmth of the Samsui Women, or an indulgent dark chocolate brownie layered with rich chocolate sauce and crushed Oreo, served with a mini shovel as a tribute to the grit and sacrifice of the Chinese Coolies who helped build modern Singapore.

Guests are encouraged to arrive at Rise Bakehouse Heritage by latest 8:00 PM as the kitchen's last order is at 8:45 PM on Saturdays (subject to changes),.

In the spirit of SG61, S$1 from every experience bundle sold will be donated to Community Chest, allowing you to celebrate Singapore's heritage while supporting a meaningful cause.
