About this event
Finger Painting is a 1.5 hours hands-on workshop that invites participants to rediscover art through instinct and touch. While often associated with childhood, finger painting has roots in traditional Chinese folk art and ink play, where direct contact with materials allowed for spontaneous and expressive creation.
Participants will explore textures, movements, and techniques using paints, while learning how this art form evolved and found a place in Singapore’s community arts and early art education. The session encourages creativity across generations, connecting tradition with personal expression in a relaxed and engaging setting.
Brought to you by Trendsen Cultural Enterprise. Use your $100 SG Culture Pass credits for this workshop.
Note: The workshop will be conducted either at Arts Resource Hub @ 42 Waterloo Street or a classroom at Waterloo Centre. Both locations are located within 3 mins walk from Bras Basah MRT Station Exit E and 5 mins walk from Bencoolen MRT Station Exit B. Participants will receive an email with the exact location at least three days before the workshop.
