This workshop introduces participants to the fascinating art of tessellation design where repeating geometric patterns are created. Tessellation combines elements of art, geometry and mathematics.
Through show and tell, participants will appreciate how tessellation design is used in many architectures and cultures, including Singapore Peranakan tiles.
This workshop will guide participants to create a simple tessellation design through drawing and paper folding.
