About it

In celebration of Grandparents' Day at the National Museum, come step into Grandma's kitchen and discover the stories behind the food we love! Roll up your sleeves and learn to make two beloved dishes — mee suah kueh (pan-fried vermicelli cake), a popular contemporary dim sum dish born from a humble home recipe, and shuang pi nai (double-skin milk pudding), a silky Cantonese dessert. Tuck into your labour of love together and bring home a portion of mee suah kueh!

This workshop is organised in collaboration with Enterprise Singapore, with selected ingredients (fish broth, wholegrain wheat flour noodles, double-skin milk premix) generously sponsored by Fish Soup Paradise, Hiap Giap and Nuvojoy. Kindly note that all ingredients are made without pork or lard.
