About this event

Hop on our catamaran and embark on a sea adventure that connects you to Singapore’s rich maritime heritage! Together with an experienced boat captain, we’ll explore the Northeastern waters of Singapore on this three-hour Island Boat Tour that includes a Kelong Visit.

The waters surrounding Singapore's northeastern islands offer a rare glimpse into our maritime history—seamen fishing, rows of wooden houses on water, and the serene life of residents living on Kelongs (floating fish farms). These are fast-vanishing sights of a disappearing trade, giving locals the opportunity to connect with Singapore’s heritage and traditional culture. You’ll also get a unique perspective of Pulau Ubin, the only inhabited island out of Singapore’s 63 islands, allowing you to discover its charm from the sea. Along the way, you’ll learn about the sustainability efforts of the fish farming industry in Singapore and its challenges. The adventure concludes with a fascinating visit to a kelong restaurant, offering you a firsthand experience of life on a floating fish farm.

Besides being a fun day out with your loved ones, this activity also seeks to inspire a greater appreciation of our rich heritage and traditions.
