One of the most gripping scenes in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar sees Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) manually docking his spinning lander to the out-of-control Endurance spacecraft. It's one of the most suspenseful action sequences of all time – and a big reason is Hans Zimmer's tense and relentless 'No Time for Caution' track.

Now, you can catch Interstellar 's famous score played live along with the movie at Interstellar – Live . Happening on October 31, 2026, at The Star Theatre, the one-night show combines a film screening with a live orchestral performance by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, with Martin Gellner as conductor and Charles Andrews on the organ.

It runs approximately 200 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission – but we bet it won't feel long at all. Not with the visual spectacle of extraordinary worlds in deep space as you follow former NASA pilot Cooper, who leaves his family behind on a mission beyond our galaxy to search for a habitable planet for humanity. Starring Anne Hathaway, Sir Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain, and Casey Affleck, the film received five Academy Award Nominations and won Best Visual Effects.

Starring a 1926 Four-manual Harrison & Harrison organ at London's Temple Church as the core instrument, Hans Zimmer's score adds scale, depth, and emotion to key scenes – from Cooper leaving his daughter and a tense chase through the cornfields, to the heartbreaking sacrifice he's confronted with towards the end of the movie.
