About it

The Origami Workshop at Pek Kio Community Centre invites children aged 3 to 15 to discover the joy of turning simple sheets of paper into creative art. With the theme “Small folds. Big impact. Better tomorrow.” , the programme encourages young participants to reuse and reimagine everyday materials while learning the basics of origami. Through guided activities, children will explore how paper folding can spark imagination, build patience, and promote sustainability.

Held across four Saturdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 November 2026 , from 1pm to 2pm — the workshop offers a fun and affordable way for families to engage in hands‑on learning together. At just $6 for all four sessions, participants are encouraged to bring their own A4 papers and join us in creating dragons, animals, and other exciting designs. Organised by Pek Kio CC and Our Green MOCA, this initiative highlights the importance of recycling while nurturing creativity in our community’s young minds.
