Step into the timeless craft of stained glass, an art that has illuminated sacred spaces and homes for centuries. In this workshop, you’ll create your own colourful glass piece while learning the cultural history and core techniques behind glass soldering. By the end, you’ll take home a completed artwork that reflects your creativity.

What to Expect 1. Welcome & Intro (10 mins) A brief history of stained glass: its origins, cultural role, and modern revival. 2. Choose Your Design (5 mins) Select from fixed patterns, with some designs offering small customization options. 3. Learn Soldering (10 mins) Intro to the Tiffany method: • Copper foil, flux, and solder basics • Creating clean, even lines • Safe handling of hot tools 4. Create Your Piece (60–90 mins) Now it’s your turn to bring your design to life! Solder and assemble your glass pieces with step-by-step guidance. Explore how artists use texture and linework to express character and emotion. 5. Finishing Touches (20 mins) Clean, polish, and attach a hanging chain. See how your piece comes alive in the light. 6. Show & Tell (10 mins) A mini gallery walk to celebrate everyone’s finished work. Take home not just your handmade piece, but insight into the history, symbolism, and craftsmanship behind stained glass. ________________________________________
