About this event
Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap® is back for its 18th year. Yes, you heard us right — 18.
The show, as usual, features 31 plays in an hour, offering a comedic snapshot of the crazy times we live in.
The talented cast will tackle everything including the World Cup's biggest moments, the high-stakes drama in the Strait of Hormuz and naturally, the long-awaited BTS comeback.
Our show has travelled to Paris, Washington DC, and Oslo and was nominated Best in Theatre at the Sydney Fringe Festival 2019 and Melbourne Fringe Festival 2020.
Come with your family and friends and enjoy this interactive performance, where you determine the order of the plays from the comfort of your seat. Shouting will be required.
"The long-running parody series – a kind of Singapore version of Saturday Night Live – weaves together Broadway-inspired show tunes and uniquely Singaporean quirks into one gloriously chaotic sketch show." — Helmi Yusof, The Business Times
"The energy in the room is electric – part relief, part elation, and entirely communal. That, perhaps, is the secret to Fat Kids Are Harder to Kidnap; beyond the topical humour and breakneck timing, it's a celebration of audience connection, the shared in-jokes of a place and moment in time." — Bakchormeeboy
