Pokémon RUN 30 Singapore Edition Pokémon fans are spoilt this year with the reopening of the Pokémon Center at Jewel Changi Airport alongside the release of Pokémon Pokopia on the Nintendo Switch 2 . But here’s something else to look forward to – the Pokémon RUN 30 Singapore Edition . From themed runner’s kit to character installations, here’s all you need to know about one of the most exciting upcoming runs in Singapore . What is the Pokémon Run? Pokémon Run SG 2018. Image credit: Pokémon Run SG via Facebook The Pokémon RUN 30 Singapore Edition is part of Pokémon’s global 30th anniversary celebrations . Marathon runners might find the 4km adventure route a piece of cake, but the run is more than just a workout. From Pokémon-inspired installations to a special Pikachu stage experience , the run is an immersive event meant to celebrate the beloved franchise. The manageable 4km distance also makes it great for families with children, so the whole gang can join in on fun-filled exercise together. Whether you are a longtime trainer who grew up with Pikachu, a Pokémon GO player, or simply trying to get into Pokémon, the race is a weekend filled with fun and exciting moments to immerse yourself in the Pokémon world. Image credit: Pokémon Run SG via Facebook The Pokémon Run is happening across 2 days, on 7th and 8th November 2026 , with registration already open. Taking place at Stadium Roar at The Kallang , the run has race slots available from 7am to 11.30am , with each slot staggered at half-hour intervals. If you’re looking to beat the midday sun, opt for the earlier start times so you can finish the race and spend more time at the Pokémon installations. What to expect from the Pokémon Run? Pokémon-themed runner’s kit & race route Pokémon runner’s kit. The special edition Pikachu plush is available as an add-on at $22. Image credit: Pokémon Of course, no race is complete without a race kit, and the Pokémon Runner’s Kit delivers . The kit includes Pokémon-themed goodies such as a race jersey, drawstring bag, stickers, and even an armband that looks like a Poké Ball for you to store your phone. Image credit: Pokémon At the end of the run, you’ll be rewarded with a finisher medal featuring the adorable Pikachu. Look out for the Pokémon Gym , which basically consists of fun obstacles scattered throughout the race for you to prove your strength as a trainer. And if you need to refresh and recharge your energy, simply stop at one of the Pokémon Centers along the way to load up on your hydration fluids. There’ll also be different Pokémon ready to greet you along the race route; collect special stickers from them to fill up your Pokédex Run Search Sheet , which you can use to earn a Gym Badge and lenticular cards featuring characters like Pikachu and Squirtle. The Pokémon Centre Singapore will be hosting a pop-up there, where you can shop your favourite Pokémon items as well as 30th Anniversary special merchandise. To learn more about the history of Pokémon from video games to trading card games , head to the Pokémon Time Tunnel , which will also feature anime and local initiatives.
