About this event

Principal Conductor Quek Ling Kiong reprises his much-loved role as Ah De in Moonbound, the first of an exciting new concert series celebrating Singapore’s diversity.

Through a selection of moon-inspired music, audiences will journey with Ah De as he savours the sights, sounds, flavours and emotions of the Mid-Autumn Festival beneath the luminous glow of moonlight in the city.

This interactive concert features a riddle solving segment, and a repertoire that reflects Singapore’s multicultural heritage, and spotlights SCO’s soloists in works such as Singapore Pie and Pelayaran.

A collaboration with SCCC, Moonbound warmly welcomes newcomers and longtime residents alike in a joyful, family-friendly celebration for all ages.
