Immerse yourself in the rich tradition of Peranakan culture with this hands-on workshop dedicated to the iconic Nyonya Kebaya. Participants will explore the fascinating history and significance of the Kebaya, discover ways to wear it, and enjoy the unique experience of pairing it with the sarong. Topics include the essence of Nyonya Kebaya and Peranakan culture, personalising the Nyonya Kebaya through Body Proportion Analysis, Fit-and-Flatter Strategies, Colour Profiling and Sulam Design.

This workshop will be facilitated by Mr. Raymond Wong who has embroidered almost every Kebaya worn by the female cast members of the popular Emerald Hill drama series. He was awarded the Stewards of Intangible Cultural Heritage Award 2023 by the National Heritage Board.
